Q&A
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tour provider will usually try to reschedule you for another date. It's best to call Lowcountry Watersports directly if you're worried about a specific date, though. They’ve been really flexible with my group when we had to change our plans due to rain.
A: Yes! You need to be at least 18 years old to drive the Creek Cat. However, younger guests can ride along in the boat with an adult. So, it's perfect for families looking for an adventurous outing together!
A: Wear comfortable clothes and definitely bring a swimsuit! You might get splashed a bit, but it's mostly a dry ride. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses—those rays can be pretty strong out there!

Just booked the Hilton Head Island Guided Water Tour! So excited!
I just bought this experience for my partner's birthday, and we can't wait! The idea of driving our own Creek Cat around the island sounds amazing. I've heard you get to see dolphins and the Harbourtown lighthouse. 😊 Also, the guide seems really knowledgeable about the local wildlife. Anyone have tips for first-timers?
Had the best time on the Creek Cat tour!
I took the guided water tour last weekend, and it was a blast! Cruising around and learning about Hilton Head’s ecosystem from our guide was so much fun. We even spotted some dolphins! The little boats are super quick, like go-karts on water—definitely a unique experience. Highly recommend it for a fun day out!
