Q&A

Q: Can you still do the Segway tour if it rains?

A: Yes, the Segway tour can still go on in light rain, but if the weather is severe, they may cancel. It's a good idea to check the weather report before you head out. They provide helmets and bottled water, so you just need to dress for the weather. I'd call and ask them directly if you're unsure!

Q: Are there age limits for this Segway tour?

A: Yes, riders must be at least 12 years old to participate. Anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult. The Segways are pretty easy to ride, but younger kids might find it a bit harder to balance. It’s a great activity for families!

Q: Is parking easy at Shelter Cove for the Segway tour?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward at Shelter Cove! There’s a lot nearby, and it’s usually not too crowded. Just make sure to arrive a bit early to find a spot. It can get busy during tourist season, especially on weekends, so plan ahead!

Thinking of gifting the Segway tour at Shelter Cove!

Hey everyone! I’m considering the Hilton Head Segway tour for my parents’ anniversary. They've never done anything like this before, and I think it would be a fun adventure. The two-hour time frame sounds perfect, and I love that it includes water and helmets. Has anyone done this tour recently? I just want to make sure it’s suitable for them!

Just did the Segway tour at Shelter Cove, amazing experience!

I just got back from the Hilton Head Segway tour and wow, it was so much fun! Riding around Shelter Cove was beautiful, and the Veterans Memorial stop was really meaningful. The guides made it super easy to learn how to ride, even for a newbie like me. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something to do on the island!
