Q&A

Q: Can I reschedule the walking tour if the weather's bad?

A: The great thing about this tour is that it’s 24/7/365! So, if the weather’s not cooperating, you can just choose another day to do it. Since it’s a smartphone-guided tour, you can pop in and out whenever you like. Just make sure to check the forecast before you head out.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I want to take my kids.

A: There’s no specific age limit for the tour! It’s great for families, but just keep in mind that it involves a bit of walking. Younger kids might need some breaks. The stories are really engaging, so older kids will probably love it!

Q: What should I wear? Is there a lot of walking involved?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! It’s a walking tour, so expect to be on your feet a lot. Dress according to the weather since you’ll be outside the whole time. I wore sneakers and a light jacket, and it was perfect for the day!

Just did the Beaufort Smartphone Walking Tour! Here’s my experience!

I just finished the Historic Beaufort Smartphone Guided Walking Tour, and wow, it was awesome! You really get to explore the sights at your own pace. I loved learning about the Civil War history and spotting the houses from 'Forrest Gump.' The app was super easy to use, and I could stop wherever I wanted. I went during the early morning, and it wasn’t too crowded at all. Highly recommend for history buffs!

Thinking about gifting the Beaufort tour, any thoughts?

I’m considering getting this walking tour for my parents who love history. They’re always talking about Beaufort and would totally enjoy wandering around the historic district. I love that it’s flexible with timing. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?
