Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Historic Happy Hour tour?

A: Yes, this tour is primarily for adults since it involves drinking at bars. However, if you have older teens (17+), they might be allowed, but it's best to check directly with Amanda first. The tour does include walking, so everyone should be able to handle the 1.5-mile stroll!

Q: What should we wear for the Historic Happy Hour? Is it casual?

A: Casual attire is perfect for this tour! You’ll be walking, so comfy shoes are a must. Some folks wore nice jeans and a stylish top, which works too since you're at bars. Just be ready for the weather since it’s outdoors.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather looks like it’s gonna be rough, Amanda usually checks in beforehand. If it’s too bad, she’ll help you reschedule. Just make sure to keep your eyes on the forecast and stay in touch!

Just did the Historic Happy Hour and it was AMAZING!

I went on the Historic Happy Hour tour last week with a few friends, and honestly, it was one of the best nights out we've had! The guide, Amanda, is super knowledgeable about Wilmington's history and she made it so much fun. We stopped at two awesome wine bars along the way. The whole vibe was perfect for a casual evening. I'd totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves history or just a great time with drinks. Plus, the architecture is stunning!

Thinking about gifting the Historic Happy Hour - thoughts?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to get my parents a unique gift for their anniversary. They love history and trying new drinks, so I think this Historic Happy Hour tour would be perfect! But I’m not sure if they’d enjoy walking that much. What do you all think?
