Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Historic Metairie Cemetery Walking Tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but I'd say it's best suited for older kids and adults. The tour involves a lot of historical context and walking, so younger kids might not appreciate it as much. However, I saw several families with teens, and they all seemed to have a great time! Just keep in mind it’s about 2 hours long.

Q: What should I wear for the Metairie Cemetery tour?

A: Comfort is key! The tour lasts about two hours and includes a good amount of walking, so wear comfy shoes. It might get hot, so breathable clothes are a good idea. If you go in the winter, layering is smart since it can cool down in the evening. Also, don’t forget sunscreen!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! They usually give you options to move your tour to another date. Just make sure to give them a heads-up as soon as possible if you need to change. They’re pretty flexible about it.
