Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the Historic River Town Ramble. Kids are definitely welcome! It’s a great educational experience, especially for those curious about history and nature. Just keep in mind that some parts of the tour might involve walking on uneven terrain, so good footwear is recommended for everyone.
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! The tour includes walking along the Little River and exploring the old town remnants, so you’ll want to be ready for some light hiking. Dress in layers since mountain weather can change quickly. A hat and sunscreen are also good ideas since part of the trail is exposed.
A: You’ll need a 'Park it Forward' pass to park at the Sugarlands Visitors Center. It’s easy to get, but make sure to buy it ahead of time online or at the center. Parking can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Arriving early is a smart move!
