Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but it's best for kids aged 5 and up who can handle a long day and enjoy the activities. They’ll love the wild burros and the gunfights! Just keep in mind that it’s all-day, so snacks and breaks are essential.
A: Dress comfortably! I’d recommend breathable clothes and a good pair of walking shoes. A wide-brimmed hat is great for sun protection since a lot of the tour is outdoors in Oatman. Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must!
A: They usually check the weather in advance. If conditions are too severe, they might reschedule or cancel the tour. You’ll get a full refund if it gets canceled, so no worries there. Make sure to confirm before you head out!

Thinking of gifting the Route 66 Bus Tour to Oatman!
I’m considering this tour as a gift for my parents who love road trips and Old West history. I heard it takes you through some beautiful desert scenery and they’d get to see the wild burros! Does anyone have tips on what to pack or how to make it a great day for them?
Just got back from the Historic Route 66 Tour!
OMG, we had the best time on the bus tour to Oatman! The gunfights were hilarious, and seeing the burros was definitely the highlight. The guide shared some really cool stories about Route 66. It’s a full day, but totally worth it. If you’re thinking of going, do it!
