Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the food tasting tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the Historic Santa Barbara Food Tasting Tour, but it’s generally more enjoyable for adults due to the wine tasting aspect. Kids are definitely welcome, but they might not get as much out of it. Just keep in mind that it’s a walking tour, so make sure the little ones can keep up!

Q: What should we wear for the food tour? Walking shoes or dressy?

A: Comfort is key! I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes since it's a bit over 3 hours of walking and tasting. Casual attire is totally fine, but if you're planning to visit some shops afterward, you might want to dress up a little. Just keep it relaxed and enjoy the food!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

A: If there's bad weather, they will usually have a flexible rescheduling policy. It's best to call them ahead of time to check on their cancellation policy, but I've seen them accommodate rescheduling pretty well. Just be sure to check the forecast before you go!

Thinking of gifting the Santa Barbara Food Tasting Tour!

I’m planning to surprise my partner with the Historic Santa Barbara Food Tasting Tour for our anniversary. The idea of six food tastings and one wine tasting sounds amazing! I love Northern Italian food and can’t wait to chat with local chefs. Has anyone done this? Any tips or must-try bites?

Just did the Historic Santa Barbara Food Tasting Tour!

OMG, this tour was incredible! We got to taste everything from artisanal cheeses to decadent chocolates. The local wine was on point too. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Santa Barbara, which made it even better. It’s a fantastic experience for food lovers! I highly recommend it!
