Q&A
A: There’s no strict limit on group size, but I’d recommend checking with Cats About Town directly if you're planning on bringing a big crew. They usually accommodate groups well, but it’s good to give them a heads up. Also, if you're bringing your pets, make sure they’re well-behaved—don’t want to disturb the history vibes! It’s a fun way to explore the Financial District together.
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking about 1.5 miles around the Financial District. Dress for the weather—layers are always a good idea in NYC! It's not overly strenuous, but you’ll want to be ready for some city walking. If it’s hot, bring water, and if it’s chilly, a light jacket works too. Just be ready to enjoy some fascinating cat history!
A: Yes, you can bring your cat! Just make sure they’re in a carrier or wearing a harness. It's a great way to include your furry friend in the history—just remember to keep them calm during the tour. Also, check if your kitty is okay with crowds; some cats can be a bit skittish around strangers. Have fun exploring together!

Just did the Historical Cat Tales tour - loved it!
I just got back from the Historical Cat Tales walking tour in the Financial District, and it was such a fun experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared some amazing stories about the cats of Wall Street. We walked past all these iconic spots, and I never knew there were postal cats employed by the government! The atmosphere was relaxed, and I loved that we could bring our cat, who was a total hit with the group. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone who loves history or cats!
Considering this for my cat-loving friend!
I’m thinking about gifting the Historical Cat Tales tour to my friend who is obsessed with cats and history. I love that it combines both! Has anyone done it? What should I know before I book? I want to make sure she has a great time. Also, can you take your cat along? I feel like it could make it even more special!
