You create your own start time subject to my approval, of course, as to my availability for any particular hour you choose. Visit various American Revolutionary historic sites and unique vistas within the eastern section of the Center City section of America's first capital. See places where people have lived continuously since the 1700's, important locations of the planning of the American Revolution, the home of the inventor of electricity, and more. Like any other major city, you'll want to travel with an experienced resident of this popular segment of a large Mid-Atlantic city with its own unique culture. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the historical walking tour in Philly?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's best for teens and adults who can handle some walking. Bob usually tailors the tour based on the group's pace and interests, so just reach out if you're thinking of bringing younger kids.

Q: What should I wear for the walking tour? Is it a casual vibe?

A: Definitely casual! Think comfy shoes since you’ll be walking a lot. Weather can change, so layering is smart, especially in Philly during fall. Bob's pretty friendly about adapting to whatever's happening with the weather!

Q: Can we reschedule if we need to? How flexible is Bob?

A: Bob is super flexible! As long as you give him a heads-up, he’ll work with you to find another time that fits. Just make sure to reach out as soon as you know you need to change it.

Just did the Historical Walking Tour in Philly - Amazing experience!

I just finished the historical walking tour with Bob and I can’t recommend it enough! We got to see places like the Betsy Ross House and Independence Hall. Bob was super knowledgeable and let us choose when to start! I had my kids with me, and they loved hearing the stories of the American Revolution. Definitely wear comfortable shoes, though! It was a solid 3-hour trek. Totally worth it!

Thinking of gifting the historical walking tour, anyone done it?

I’m considering this walking tour for my dad’s birthday. He’s a huge history buff! I’ve heard great things about Bob, but what’s the vibe like? Is the tour mostly walking or are there stops to rest? Just trying to gauge if it’ll be a good fit for him.
