This tour takes us through the streets surrounding the State Capitol, where the Who's Who of Denver's society built their mansions and their stories were made. We shall walk Millionaire's Row, visit Molly Brown, and even the two "most haunted" homes in Denver and you shall hear all of the dark, delicious tales of those that lived here and those that still remain... For years I worked at Fairmount Cemetery. I managed the flower shop which was then located in the building that used to be the old train station which brought the mourners there. These affluent Denverites left large amounts of money in endowments for perpetual care of their graves. I heard the stories and the history of all these people. I feel like I know them. Please join me as I walk the streets where they lived. Let me tell you all the history I have learned and all the juicy stories I have heard… And in the "spirit" of the tour, we are always costumed!

Q&A

Q: What's the best way to dress for the Historical Walking Tour of Denver? Any recommendations?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot! I'd also suggest layering your clothes because the weather can change pretty quickly in Denver. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea, especially if the tour goes into the evening. Costumes can be fun, but make sure you're still comfortable.

Q: Is there any age limit for the tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are definitely welcome! It’s more about the stories than the spookiness, so it’s family-friendly. However, keep in mind that younger kids might not get all the historical references. We’ve seen many families join, and everyone has a great time! Just be prepared for some longer stories.

Q: Can the tour be rescheduled if something comes up? How flexible are they?

A: Yes! The provider is usually pretty accommodating when it comes to rescheduling. Just contact them as soon as you know you need to change your plans. They understand that life happens, and they'll work with you to find a new date. Just keep in mind to give them a heads-up!

Thinking of gifting the Haunted Walking Tour for Halloween!

I’m seriously considering this Historical Walking Tour of Denver for my friends! It sounds like a blast, especially with all the spooky stories. I’ve heard Madame DuBois is a fantastic guide. Can anyone confirm if the tour is as engaging as it sounds? Would love to hear some experiences!

Just did the Historical Walking Tour yesterday - so cool!

I went on the Historical Walking Tour of Denver with a couple of friends, and it was amazing! Madame DuBois really brings the history to life, and the haunted stories were the cherry on top. Walking Millionaire's Row was a highlight, and I didn't know half the stuff about Denver's past. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a unique experience!
