Q&A
A: Definitely wear boots or sturdy shoes, as it can get muddy in the rain forest. Layers are key, too—it's cool in the morning but can warm up later. A waterproof jacket is also a must since it rains a lot there!
A: There isn't a strict minimum age, but it's best for kids who can handle a bit of hiking. If they're under 8, it might be a long day for them. Just keep in mind the trails can get challenging depending on the weather.
A: Parking at the tour starting point in Port Angeles is generally fine, but I'd recommend getting there at least 20-30 minutes early. It's a popular spot, and you want to ensure you're all set to leave on time, especially since this is a full-day tour.

Just got back from the Hoh Rain Forest tour and WOW!
I took the tour a few days ago and it was AMAZING! Our guide was super knowledgeable, and the Hall of Mosses was like stepping into a fairy tale. The shuttle ride from Port Angeles was also really scenic. Rialto Beach was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Just sitting on the logs and listening to the waves was so calming. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves nature!
Thinking about gifting the Hoh Rain Forest tour - any thoughts?
I want to give this tour as a gift for my dad's birthday. He loves hiking but hasn't been to Olympic National Park yet. How strenuous are the hikes? Also, any tips for making the day extra special?
