Meet your professional tour guide and board a luxury climate-controlled bus at the US Navy Memorial before heading to Downtown DC to enjoy the dazzling Christmas tree and lights display. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this Holiday Lights Tour? My 5-year-old loves Christmas lights!

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the Holiday Lights Tour! Kids are welcome, and it’s a great way for younger ones to experience the holiday spirit. Just keep in mind that the tour lasts about three hours, so make sure your little one is comfortable with that. The bus is climate-controlled, which helps a lot!

Q: How does parking work for the Holiday Lights Tour? I'm driving in from out of town.

A: For the Holiday Lights Tour, they recommend arriving early to find parking. The US Navy Memorial area has some nearby public parking lots, but they can fill up quickly during the holidays. Check for garages or street parking, but keep in mind that some streets might have restrictions. Alternatively, using public transport is a great option since the area is well connected!

Q: What should I wear for the Holiday Lights Tour? Is it going to be freezing?

A: Definitely dress warmly! While the bus is climate-controlled, you'll be stepping outside for photo ops, and it can get really chilly in DC in December. Layering is key—think sweaters, coats, gloves, and maybe a hat. Comfortable shoes are a must too since you'll be walking a bit around the sites.

Thinking of gifting the Holiday Lights Tour – anyone been?

Hey everyone! I’m considering giving my parents tickets for the Holiday Lights Tour in DC. They love Christmas lights and it sounds like such a fun experience! I read that you get to see the National Christmas Tree and the big one at National Harbor, plus stops for pics. Anyone done this? How’s the vibe? Worth it?

Just did the Holiday Lights Tour—what a blast!

Just got back from the Holiday Lights Tour and wow, it was incredible! Seeing the National Christmas Tree right by the White House was a highlight. The Gaylord Resort's lights were just stunning. Highly recommend if you wanna get into the holiday spirit! The guide had so much knowledge too. Definitely going again next year.
