Come on to our Hollywood sign walking tour presented by Junket! Hike with your professional tour guide for beautiful views of the famous Hollywood sign. The first leg of the tour is an uphill, 1.2–1.5 mile trek through a wide, open, unpaved dirt trail to the summit of the mountain. Depending on the group's hiking skills, it takes this route between one and one and a half hours to reach the summit. We'll stop at a number of other lovely locations along the way, including the Griffith Observatory and the Bronson Caves. There will be many chances to capture the city and valley in priceless photographs. Your knowledgeable local guide will then lead you on an easy, all-downhill return trip, stopping along the way so you can take additional pictures of the stunning views. Depending on your level of trekking, the tour is around 2.5–2 miles long and lasts 2–2.5 hours. The descent moves along swiftly. Please be ready for the uphill hike, which will reward you with breathtaking vistas.

Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Hollywood Sign hike, especially if it's warm out?

A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes—sneakers are usually fine, but boots provide better support. Dress in layers since it can get warm during the hike, but cooler at the top. A hat and sunscreen are also a must! And don't forget your camera for those jaw-dropping views!

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour, or can kids join?

A: Kids are welcome on this hike! We had a mixed group during my tour, including some families. Just be sure your kids can handle the uphill trek—it can be a bit challenging for younger ones. The guide is really friendly and accommodates all ages.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather's bad? What happens then?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! If the weather looks too rough, they'll contact you about changing the date. I had to do that once due to a heatwave, and it was super easy to get a new date. They’re really flexible!

Thinking of gifting the Hollywood Sign hike! Any pros or cons?

I’m considering getting the Hollywood Sign Adventure Hike for my sister’s birthday. She loves hiking and LA. The tour sounds amazing with the views and history, but I’m a bit worried about the uphill part. Is it really tough? I just want to make sure she enjoys it since she’s not an avid hiker.

Just booked the Hollywood Sign hike! Any tips?

Hey everyone! I just booked this Hollywood Sign Adventure Hike for me and my partner this weekend. Super excited but also nervous about the heat and the hike itself. Any tips on what to bring or expect? Should we arrive early?
