Q&A

Q: What kind of food options are available for lunch during the tour?

A: They offer a choice of breakfast or lunch, depending on what you select when booking the tour. I went with lunch, and we stopped at a really nice café in Boulder City that had great sandwiches and salads. You can customize your meal preferences, so it should suit everyone’s taste!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: No specific age limit! It’s pretty family-friendly, but I’d recommend it for ages 5 and up. My kids loved it, especially the Hoover Dam part. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need help with some of the walking at Red Rock Canyon.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it mostly outdoors?

A: Definitely dress comfortably! It’s mostly outdoors, especially at Red Rock Canyon, so wear good walking shoes. Layers are a good idea since it can be hot during the day but cooler in the morning. Sunscreen and a hat are also a must!

Just did the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon tour, and it was awesome!

I took the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon combo tour last month with my family, and we had a blast! Our guide was super knowledgeable, and the views were just breathtaking. The lunch stop in Boulder City was a nice touch too—such a cute little town! We got to walk across the Memorial Bridge, which was a highlight for me. Totally recommend it if you’re in Vegas and want a break from the strip!

Considering the Hoover Dam and Red Rock tour for a gift—thoughts?

I’m thinking about gifting the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon tour to my brother and his family for Christmas. They love the outdoors and traveling. Is it worth it? How long of a day is it? Any input from those who’ve done it would be appreciated!
