Q&A
A: Great question! There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to paddle their own kayak. Younger kids can ride with an adult. Just keep in mind that they should be comfortable in the water. It's a fun family adventure!
A: You’ll want to wear swimwear or quick-dry clothes since you might get splashed. Flip-flops or water shoes are a good choice too. Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses! The sun can be pretty intense out there.
A: If the weather isn’t safe for kayaking, Evolution Expeditions will typically reschedule your tour for a later date. They’re great about keeping you informed, so just check your email or call them ahead of time if you're concerned. Safety first!

Thinking of gifting the Hoover Dam Kayak Tour!
I’m really considering this kayak tour for my partner's birthday! The idea of paddling past the Hoover Dam and seeing wildlife sounds amazing. Has anyone done this yet? What was the vibe like? I feel like it’d be such a unique experience compared to just the usual dinner or gift.
Just got back from the Hoover Dam kayak tour!
Wow, what an experience! We saw bighorn sheep and learned so much about the dam. The lunch they provided was pretty good too! I’d recommend this tour for anyone visiting Vegas—it’s a nice break from the strip. Just be ready for a workout! It’s not super intense, but you’re definitely paddling a lot.
