Q&A
A: There isn’t a strict age limit for the Hoover Dam tour, but kids as young as 5 have a blast. Just keep in mind that some parts can be a bit long for younger ones. If you're bringing a really little kid, maybe consider a backpack or stroller, but there's a good amount of walking involved, so be prepared!
A: Dress comfortably since you'll be doing some walking! A good pair of sneakers is a must. The weather can be hot, so light clothes are advisable. If your tour is in the summer, definitely bring a hat and sunglasses. Don’t forget sunscreen, too!
A: If there’s bad weather, like heavy rain or lightning, the tour may be rescheduled for safety. You’d usually be contacted by the provider to work out a new date. So you should be covered, but check their policy when you book just to be sure.

Thinking of gifting the Hoover Dam tour! Anyone done it?
I’m considering getting the Hoover Dam Highlights + Bridge Walk Tour experience for my dad’s birthday. He loves history and engineering! How's the view from the Memorial Bridge? And is it kid-friendly? Any thoughts on how much time we spend at the Hoover Dam itself?
Just did the Hoover Dam tour, and wow!
I went on the Hoover Dam Highlights tour last week, and it was amazing! The guide was super knowledgeable, and the views were just wow. We spent a good hour at the dam, which felt just right. Plus, the bus was really comfy, and the water was refreshing. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Las Vegas!
