Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I would say it's best for kids 5 and up. They should be able to handle the walking and understand the tour info. The tour guides are great with kids, so it could be a fun educational experience for them! Just be sure to keep an eye on them near the edges of the dam.
A: Weather can definitely play a role, especially in summer. If there's high wind, they may not go down into the power plant since safety is a priority. But they’ll keep you updated! I went in early July and had to reschedule due to wind, but they were super accommodating.
A: Yes, there’s usually street parking available, but it can get crowded. They suggest using rideshare if you can. Remember, the tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, so if you’re staying in Vegas, you might not even need to worry about parking!

Just got back from the Hoover Dam tour and wow!
I took the private Hoover Dam tour with Vegas To Hollywood Tourz and it was amazing! They picked us up in a black Suburban, super luxurious. The power plant tour was incredible, seeing those huge turbines up close was surreal. We had a great guide who shared all these cool hidden gems about the dam. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a unique gift experience for someone who loves history or engineering!
Considering this tour as a gift, is it worth it?
I’m thinking about getting this Hoover Dam tour for my husband’s birthday. He loves engineering stuff! But I’m a bit worried about the price and what’s included. I heard you get snacks and drinks, which is cool, but can you really skip the bus? That sounds nice!
