Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the Hoover Dam tour, but it's a good idea to bring older kids who can appreciate the engineering and history. Younger kids might get a bit restless. Just be aware that they should be able to walk around for a few hours! Also, make sure they’re okay with heights when you visit the overlook.
A: Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be doing a good amount of walking, especially in the tunnels. The temperature can vary; it’s cooler in the tunnels but pretty warm outside, so dress in layers. I'd recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen if you're visiting in the summer!
A: Tours run rain or shine unless there's severe weather like a storm. If a tour gets canceled, they usually offer a reschedule or a full refund. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast and reach out to the provider if you're concerned!

Thinking about gifting the Hoover Dam tour! Anyone tried it?
I’m considering gifting this Hoover Dam tour to my dad for his birthday. He’s into engineering and history, so I think it’d be a perfect match! But I’m curious about how long the actual tour is and if it’s worth it. Any thoughts?
Just did the Hoover Dam tour, and WOW!
I just got back from the Hoover Dam tour with USA West Tours, and it was incredible! The views from the Lakeview Overlook were stunning, and walking through the tunnels was mind-blowing. Definitely grab those pics at the Welcome sign too! Highly recommend it as a gift or just for yourself!
