A: Yes, there is an age limit for the kayak portion—kids need to be at least 10 years old to participate. This is mainly for safety reasons, as the water can get a bit rough in places. They’ll have to be able to handle a kayak, but younger kids can still enjoy the Hoover Dam walk if they’re under that age.

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day we book this? Can we reschedule?

A: Totally understandable concern! If the weather is deemed unsafe, they will let you reschedule for another date without any extra charge. Just make sure to call them as soon as possible so they can adjust the booking for you. I had to reschedule mine last minute due to rain and they were super accommodating!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak part? Is it chilly in the canyon?

A: Great question! Wear lightweight, quick-dry clothes since you might get splashed. A swimsuit is a good idea too! The canyon can be cooler in the morning, so maybe bring a light jacket or long sleeves. Just remember, you’ll want to be comfortable while paddling.
