Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for riders? I wanna take my kids!

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 to ride. They need to be able to handle the horse, and the guide can assess their ability before starting. It's a great family experience, just make sure they’re comfortable around the horses!

Q: What should I wear for this horseback riding experience?

A: Definitely wear long pants, preferably jeans or something durable. Sturdy boots with a heel are a must, and layers are good since it can get chilly up in the Sierra! They recommend avoiding flip-flops or sandals.

Q: Can this be rescheduled if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, they’re really flexible with rescheduling! If the weather looks bad, you can call ahead and they’ll work with you to find another date. Just make sure to give them as much notice as possible.

Just got back from the Reno Horseback Riding Adventure!

OMG, I can't recommend this enough! The views of the Sierra Range were breathtaking, and our guide was fantastic. The shuttle pickup was super convenient, and they provided snacks, which was a nice surprise! I went with my partner, and we both felt really comfortable on our horses. Just a heads up though, wear good shoes and maybe bring a jacket if you're riding in the evening!

Thinking of gifting the Horseback Riding Adventure to my mom

My mom loves horses and I think this would be the perfect gift for her birthday! Just curious, though, how long does the ride usually last? And if any of you have done it, what did you love the most?
