Q&A
A: You’ll want to dress comfortably! I wore jeans and a simple t-shirt, plus closed-toe shoes. Remember, you might get a bit dirty from the horses, so don’t wear anything too fancy. Layers are good too since it can get a bit chilly by the ocean.
A: Great question! Kids as young as 10 can participate, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. The horses are super gentle, so it’s a good experience for younger riders! Just make sure your kid is comfortable around animals.
A: Yes, they do reschedule if the weather is really bad, like heavy rain or storms. They’re pretty flexible, so you can talk to them about a new date. I went on a cloudy day, and it was still beautiful! Just be prepared for some wind at the lookout.

Just did the Horseback Riding and Wine Tasting in Santa Barbara!
OMG, the views from the canyon were insane! We did the horseback riding tour last week, and it was such a blast. Riding along the river and then getting to see the ocean was just perfect. The wine tasting after was a nice bonus. The first vineyard had some delicious Pinot Noir. Honestly, if you’re thinking of gifting this experience, do it! It's awesome for friends or even a romantic date.
Thinking about gifting the Horseback Riding and Wine Tour—any tips?
I’m looking to surprise my partner with this tour! Has anyone done it? What do you recommend for the day? Any specific vineyards that are better? Also, how’s the transportation? Just making sure everything's smooth for the gift!
