Ride through aspen groves, wildflower meadows, and rugged trails as you climb higher into the untouched Wyoming wilderness. Enjoy wildlife sitings including mule deer, elk, and moose just to name a few. We offer 90-minute, half-day, and cookout dinner rides just like the cowboys. Loading and guidance will take on average 30 minutes but may take over an hour depending upon the experience level of guests. Guests are in 100 percent control of their horses at all times.

A: Definitely wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Boots are ideal, but any sturdy shoes will work. Layer up because it can get a bit chilly, especially if you ride in the morning or evening. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat – the sun can be strong in Wyoming!

A: Children as young as 7 can usually join the ride, but it might depend on their size and maturity. Some rides may require participants to be at least 10 or 12. It’s best to check with Heart 6 Ranch directly to be sure and see what they recommend for the specific ride you're interested in.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is bad. Heart 6 Ranch tries to be flexible about that. Just make sure to give them a call ahead of time, and they'll work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule.

Just got back from horseback riding in Jackson Hole!

OMG, this was incredible! The ride through Bridger-Teton National Forest was gorgeous, especially with all the wildflowers in bloom. We spotted a few elk too! The guides were really helpful and made sure everyone felt comfortable on their horses. I highly recommend the cookout dinner option – it was nice to relax after the ride. Anyone else done this? Would love to hear your experiences!
