Q&A
A: Yes, the tour is family-friendly and there are no strict age restrictions. Kids usually enjoy the open-top bus experience! Just keep in mind that younger children may need to sit with an adult, and it can be a bit windy, so it’s good to bring a light jacket if the weather's cooler.
A: Dress comfortably! Since it's an open-top bus tour, wearing layers is best because it can get a bit breezy. If you go during the summer, light clothing is ideal, but bring sunglasses and sunscreen. If it rains, the tour might still go on as they have alternate vehicles, but check their policy beforehand.
A: Yes, there’s parking available at the HCT Visitors Center, but it’s limited and can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. I recommend arriving a bit early to secure a spot or checking nearby garages if the lot is full. It’s also easy to Uber there if you’re worried about parking!

Thinking about gifting the Houston City & Mural Tour!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Houston City & Mural Tour for my sister's birthday. She loves exploring cities, and I've heard good things about the open-top bus experience. I’m curious if anyone’s done the evening tour? What’s the vibe like? Are the views as awesome as the morning tours?
Review: Houston's Official City & Mural Tour!
Just got back from the Houston City & Mural Tour and wow, what a great time! We saw Minute Maid Park and the Downtown Aquarium from the bus, and the tour guide was super funny and informative. The open-top bus was perfect for taking pictures. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting or even locals wanting to see the city in a new way. Definitely worth every penny!
