Our guides will take you down the length of the Buffalo Bayou showing you the beauty of the Bayou hidden within the big city. We'll see multiple iconic buildings in the Houston Skyline including the Wells Fargo Plaza (second tallest building in Texas), the JPMorgan Chase Tower (tallest building in in Texas), and Allen's Landing (original port of Houston). Additionally, thanks to were we launch from you'll get to see the home of the Houston Astros, Minute Maid Park! Most importantly our informed guides will be able to teach you the history of Houston, what makes the city so important, and the important role the Buffalo Bayou plays to the city. A: Great question! Kids can definitely join the kayaking tour, but they should be at least 8 years old to paddle. Otherwise, they can sit in the kayak with an adult. It's a fun outing for families, just make sure everyone is comfortable on the water!

A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, they’ll usually contact you to reschedule, especially for storms or high winds. You can also call them ahead of time if you're concerned. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a good time!

A: The best time to go is definitely during the golden hour, which is usually about an hour before sunset. Make sure to check the local sunset times for your date. The views of the skyline against the sunset are just breathtaking!

Thinking about gifting the Houston Sunset Skyline Kayaking Tour!

I’m really considering this kayaking tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves the outdoors, and the idea of paddling along the Buffalo Bayou while seeing the Houston skyline is just perfect! I read that they provide everything, like the kayak and life jackets. Does anyone know how long the tour typically lasts? Also, is parking easy at the launch site?

Wow, the Houston Sunset Skyline Kayaking Tour was AMAZING! We launched from downtown and got to see Minute Maid Park and all the iconic buildings as the sun set. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the trip unforgettable. Totally worth it. If you're thinking about it, just do it!
