Q&A
A: There’s no strict minimum age for this tour! It’s a family-friendly experience, so your niece should have a great time exploring Cold Spring and the other stops. Just keep in mind that some areas can have uneven terrain, so perhaps plan for comfortable walking shoes. Overall, it’s a lovely day out for all ages!
A: If it rains, you can definitely reschedule! Just contact Welcome Pickups at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour, and they’ll help you find a new date. The tour is great in nice weather, but they understand that rain can put a damper on things, so they’re flexible about rescheduling!
A: It’s about 7 hours total, which includes your time at each stop. Most people enjoy a leisurely pace, so you can definitely fit in lunch in Cold Spring! There are some charming cafes to choose from, and the driver can recommend places based on what you’re in the mood for.

Just booked the Hudson Valley Escape tour for my parents!
I'm really excited! They love exploring new places, and this tour seems perfect. I was especially drawn to the idea of walking around Cold Spring and visiting the Boscobel House & Gardens. Plus, the private ride sounds so comfy! Any tips for making the day extra special? Should I pack anything for them?
Has anyone done the Cold Spring tour? What was your favorite part?
I just got back from the Hudson Valley tour and it was fantastic! The views from the Boscobel Gardens were breathtaking. The driver was super nice too. I think my favorite part was walking around Cold Spring Village. The antique shops are a hidden gem! Would love to hear other people’s experiences.
