Q&A

Q: What's the best time to book this helicopter tour for fall colors?

A: The peak foliage in the Hudson Valley usually happens around mid to late October. I'd recommend booking your tour for that time to catch the vibrant colors! Just keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on forecasts leading up to your flight.

Q: Is there an age limit for this helicopter tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids must be at least 2 years old to fly. They’ll also need a seat if they’re older than that. Just make sure the little ones are okay with the noise—helicopter rides can be loud!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if weather conditions aren't suitable. The company is pretty good about reaching out if they think conditions might be an issue. Just make sure you do it with enough notice to find a new time that works.

Thinking of gifting the Hudson Valley Fall Foliage Helicopter Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this helicopter tour for my dad's birthday in October. He loves nature and has never been in a helicopter before! I’m a bit worried about whether the weather will cooperate. Has anyone done this tour? What was the experience like? Also, is it worth the extra price for the 45-minute option?

Just finished the Fall Foliage Helicopter Tour—wow!

I just got back from the Hudson Valley helicopter tour and wow, it was amazing! The views of the fall colors over the Hudson were unreal. The pilot was super friendly and shared a lot of interesting history about the landmarks. We saw Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse and even a glimpse of West Point! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience.
