Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the tour, so kids are welcome to join! It's a great experience for families since both The High Line and The Vessel are visually stimulating and fun. Just keep in mind that The Vessel has a lot of stairs, so younger kids might need some help navigating those. Overall, it's suitable for all ages!

Q: What should I wear for this experience? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely dress comfortably! The experience involves quite a bit of walking, especially on The High Line. I'd recommend wearing good walking shoes and dressing in layers since it can get breezy up there. Also, check the weather beforehand—if it’s rainy, you might want a light jacket or umbrella.

Q: What if it rains? Will the tour still happen?

A: The tour usually goes on even if it rains, but they might adjust the route. The High Line is mostly outdoors, and if the weather is really bad, you might miss parts of it. I’d recommend checking for any weather updates on the day of your tour, and bringing a poncho just in case!

Thinking of gifting the High Line and Vessel tour! Anyone done it?

Hey everyone! I’m considering this experience for my sister’s birthday. She loves art and city parks, so I think it could be perfect. I saw that it’s free, but I’m wondering how long the tour usually lasts and if you really get to see all the cool spots. Also, is it crowded on weekends? Any tips would be great!

High Line and Vessel Experience - Worth it?

Hi all! I'm really looking into the High Line and Vessel tour for my upcoming NYC trip. I’m not sure if it’s more suited for tourists or if locals enjoy it too. Is it a good mix of sights and activities? I just want to make sure it’s not just walking without much to see!
