Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this dolphin tour? Can my 4-year-old join?

A: The Hydro Rocket Dolphin Tour has a Coast Guard height restriction, so kids must be at least 5 years old to join. Sorry about your 4-year-old! It's a bummer, but safety first. If they’re 5 and up, they should be good to go!

Q: How's the weather in Destin for this tour in late July? Should I expect cancellations?

A: Late July in Destin is usually pretty sunny and warm, but afternoon storms can pop up. Hydro Rocket has a good policy on rescheduling due to weather, so if you get canceled, they’ll work with you to find another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Q: What should we wear for the Hydro Rocket Tour? Is it super splashy?

A: I’d recommend wearing swimwear and bringing a towel. The ride can get a bit splashy, especially if the waves are up. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen! You’ll be pretty close to the water. It’s a fun way to enjoy the dolphins up close.

Just got back from the Hydro Rocket Dolphin Tour—what a blast!

I did the Hydro Rocket Dolphin Sightseeing Tour last week in Destin, and it was amazing! We saw so many dolphins swimming right next to the boat. The crew was super friendly and gave us plenty of photo ops. It was a bit splashy, so definitely wear your swim gear. The whole hour went by so fast, I wish it was longer! Perfect for families or just a fun day out with friends.

Thinking about booking the dolphin tour as a surprise gift!

My cousin and her family are coming to Destin next month, and I’m considering the Hydro Rocket Dolphin Tour as a gift for them. They have a 7-year-old and a teenager, and I think they’ll love it! Has anyone done it recently? Any tips for making sure they have a great time?
