Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids? Would it be suitable for my 10-year-old?

A: There's no strict age limit for the scavenger hunt, so it's definitely suitable for kids! Many families take part, and it can be a fun bonding experience for your 10-year-old. Just keep in mind that they'll need to keep up with the walking and the challenges, but it's designed to be enjoyable for all ages.

Q: Can we do this scavenger hunt if the weather looks bad?

A: While the scavenger hunt is mostly outdoors, you can reschedule for bad weather! Just reach out to IslandTreasureHunts.com, and they'll help you find a new date without any hassle. Always a good idea to check the forecast before you start, though.

Q: Is parking easy around The Strand? I heard it can be tough in Galveston.

A: Parking can be hit or miss, especially on weekends. There are some paid lots near The Strand, and street parking is an option too, but it fills up quickly. I'd recommend arriving early or considering rideshare if you want to avoid the hassle.
