Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather conditions aren't safe for kayaking, the tour can be rescheduled. RMG Kayak Company is pretty flexible with this and will work with you to find a new date. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when booking!

Q: Is this experience suitable for kids? What's the age limit?

A: Great question! Kids can join if they’re at least 8 years old and can fit in a life vest. A tandem kayak means adults can paddle with them, so it’s perfect for family outings. Just make sure they’re ready for some fun on the water!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak tour? Any special gear needed?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet! A swimsuit or quick-dry clothes are great, plus don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. The tour provides life vests, so just wear what you’ll be comfy in while paddling!

Just booked the Illuminated Glass Kayak Sunset Tour—so excited!

I can’t wait for this experience! I've heard such great things about the illuminated kayaks and paddling on Whitefish Lake at sunset sounds magical. It’s a perfect gift for my girlfriend’s birthday, and I think she’ll love it! Has anyone done this tour? What should I expect?

Thinking about gifting the kayak tour—so many questions!

I’m considering this tour for my brother’s graduation. He loves outdoors but hasn’t kayaked before. Is it easy enough for beginners? Any tips for making it a fun experience for him?
