A: If the weather's really bad, they usually cancel the tour for safety. You can reschedule to another day at no extra charge. So, just make sure you keep an eye on the forecast and stay flexible. It’s always better to be safe, plus you want the best chance to see those whales!

Q: What should I wear on the boat? Is it cold out there?

A: Definitely wear something casual but bring a light jacket or windbreaker. You might get a bit wet from splashes, especially if the waves are up! As for shoes, sandals or flip-flops are totally fine. Just make sure you’re comfortable!

Q: Is this suitable for little kids? My 4-year-old is really excited, but I'm worried about the experience.

A: Yes, kids ages 3 and up can join! The crew is super friendly and great with kids. Just keep an eye on them, especially if the boat gets bumpy. Bring some snacks for them if your 4-year-old is picky, since they do provide light snacks, but it might be good to have some backup.

Just got back from the Imiloa Express Whale Watch and Cocktail Tour, and wow, what an experience! We saw tons of humpback whales and even a few dolphins! The crew was super friendly, and the mai tais were delicious. Definitely wear a jacket because you will get splashed. If you're in Kauai during whale season, don’t miss this!
