Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the sushi cooking class?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's generally more suitable for those 16 and older since it involves using sharp knives. However, if you're bringing younger kids, I’d suggest checking with the venue first as they may have specific guidelines about supervision.

Q: What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate? Do they cancel the class?

A: Since the class is indoors at a brewery, weather usually isn’t a problem! If there are any major issues, they’ll reach out to you to reschedule or issue a refund. So you’re covered either way.

Q: How long is the class, and is it really beginner-friendly?

A: The class is typically around 2 hours long and the chef is amazing at breaking things down step by step. Even if you've never rolled sushi before, you'll feel comfortable and have fun! No skills required, just a willingness to learn!

Just did the sushi class at a brewery in Fort Lauderdale—SO fun!

I went to the Immersive Sushi Cooking Class last weekend and had an absolute blast! The chef was super engaging and really took the time to explain everything. We made a salmon roll and a veggie roll, and I can’t believe how good they turned out! The vibe at the brewery was awesome too—great beers to sip on while you cook. I’m definitely considering this as a gift for my friends’ birthdays!

Thinking about gifting the sushi cooking class—thoughts?

I’m considering gifting the sushi cooking class to my sister and her boyfriend for their anniversary. They love sushi and fun experiences. Has anyone here done it? What do you think? Anything I should know before buying?
