Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the kids if I want to take my family?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but kids need to be able to paddle and wear a life jacket. The kayaks are suitable for older kids, and they do offer tandem kayaks, which can be great for younger kids paddling with an adult. Just be sure to check with Paddle Paradise beforehand for specific safety gear recommendations.

Q: What if the weather looks bad on the day I booked?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, Paddle Paradise usually allows you to reschedule for free. Just make sure to contact them as early as possible to let them know. They’re pretty good about working with you on that!

Q: How hard is it to paddle to Peanut Island? I'm not super fit.

A: Paddling to Peanut Island is pretty easy! The water is calm, and it’s only about a 30-minute paddle each way. Even if you're not super fit, you can take breaks and just enjoy the scenery. Plus, it’s a tandem kayak option if you want to team up!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day at Peanut Island!

Just did the glass-bottom kayak and snorkel adventure at Peanut Island, and wow, it was amazing! The clear kayaks are so cool, and the underwater sights are breathtaking. We packed a cooler with lunch, but the included snacks were surprisingly good. We also saw tons of fish while snorkeling! Just a heads up, parking at Phil Foster Park can fill up fast, so I’d get there early next time.

Considering gifting this experience for my partner's birthday!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking of getting the glass kayak rental experience for my partner’s birthday next month. Has anyone done this? How was the beach at Peanut Island? I want it to be special, and any tips would be appreciated. Also, is it romantic to pack a little picnic?
