Q&A
A: You’ll want to dress for the Florida weather! Lightweight, quick-dry clothes are best since you might get splashed. Don't forget a wide-brim hat and sunscreen because you'll be out in the sun. Also, since you can't wear shoes in the clear bottom kayaks, consider water shoes or sandals that are easy to take off.
A: Kids can definitely join! Just keep in mind the weight limits - they need to be at least 30 lbs for the life jackets. It's a great family-friendly activity, and it’s perfect for kids who love nature and animals. Just make sure they can handle a little paddling for the tour length of about an hour and a half.
A: If the weather isn't safe for paddling, Cocoa Kayaking will reach out to reschedule your tour. They’ll do their best to accommodate you. It’s good to check the weather forecast before booking, especially during hurricane season. Just keep an eye on your emails for any updates!

Just got back from the Manatee and Dolphin Tour at Cocoa Beach - Amazing!
I took the clear bottom kayak tour last week and it was honestly such a cool experience! We saw so many dolphins and a couple of manatees swimming around us. The guides were super friendly and really knew their stuff about the wildlife. Pro tip: try to book the 9:00 am tour for the best sightings! I can't recommend this enough for anyone looking for a unique gift experience.
Thinking about gifting the kayak tour for my sister’s birthday!
I’m considering the clear bottom kayak tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature and animals, and I think she’d enjoy seeing the manatees and dolphins! I’m worried about the weight limit though since she’s been talking about getting back into shape. Do you think it would be a good experience for someone who’s not super athletic?
