Q&A

Q: What should I wear for paddleboarding in Phoenix? Is there a dress code?

A: You’ll want to dress comfortably! I'd suggest wearing a swimsuit and a light, quick-dry shirt since it can get pretty hot in Phoenix. Also, don’t forget sunscreen! The lifejacket is included, but you might want to wear a rash guard if you're sensitive to sunburn.

Q: Is there an age limit for renting these paddleboards? I want to take my kids.

A: There's not a strict age limit, but kids should be comfortable in the water and ideally at least 8 years old. Riverbound Sports recommends that kids under 12 be accompanied by an adult. They also provide lifejackets for all ages, which is great!

Q: What’s the cancellation policy if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, Riverbound Sports is pretty flexible. You can reschedule your rental without penalty if conditions are unsafe. Just make sure to call them ahead of time; they’re really understanding about it!

Thinking about giving an inflatable paddleboard rental as a gift - any thoughts?

I’m considering this full-day inflatable paddleboard rental in Phoenix for my brother's birthday. He’s never paddleboarded before but loves being outdoors. The price is so reasonable, and I love that it includes a lifejacket and pump. Has anyone tried this? How was the staff? Any tips for a first-timer?

Paddleboarding in Phoenix - Worth it?

I’m thinking of renting inflatable paddleboards for a day trip. I found this place in Phoenix that seems legit. They provide all the gear and teach you how to use it. Is it challenging? I don’t want my friends to feel overwhelmed.
