Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the fishing charter?

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 6 years old for safety and enjoyment. The crew is super accommodating and will help kids get the hang of fishing. Just make sure to bring some snacks and maybe a light jacket for them.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our charter?

A: If the weather is bad, RedFin Charters will contact you to reschedule or give you a full refund if you can’t find a new date that works. They’re pretty flexible, so just keep an eye on the forecast before heading out. Safety is definitely their priority!

Q: What should I wear for the fishing charter?

A: Dress in light layers and wear closed-toe shoes! You’ll want a hat for sun protection and sunglasses. Don’t forget sunscreen, even if it’s cloudy. The boat can get wet, so maybe leave the fancy stuff at home.

Just got back from the Inshore Fishing Charter and WOW!

I just did the Inshore Fishing Charter with RedFin Charters in Charleston and it was awesome! We caught so many fish and the guide was hilarious and super knowledgeable. The cooler of water was a nice touch too. If you’re thinking about it as a gift, it’s perfect for anyone who loves fishing—or even just being out on the water! Definitely recommend!

Thinking of gifting the Inshore Fishing Charter for my dad’s birthday!

My dad is a huge fishing enthusiast and I’m thinking about getting him a charter with RedFin for his birthday. He’s always talked about fishing in Charleston. How does the whole booking process work? Can you book it for someone else?
