Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for participants going fishing with Captain Rob?

A: There's no specific age limit mentioned, but I think younger kids can go as long as an adult is with them. Just be sure to call ahead and ask Rob about any particular age restrictions he might have. He’s super friendly and loves sharing fishing with families!

Q: What should I wear for the fishing trip? Any recommendations?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable and breathable. I suggest wearing swim trunks or lightweight pants with a moisture-wicking shirt. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the sun! The weather's usually hot but can change, so maybe bring a light jacket just in case.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad? How does that work?

A: Yeah, Capt. Rob is pretty flexible when it comes to rescheduling due to weather. If conditions aren’t safe, he typically reaches out to let you know and will work with you to pick another day. Just be sure to give him a call once you book to discuss options!

Thinking of booking the inshore fishing trip with Captain Rob - any suggestions?

I’m looking to book the inshore fishing experience for my dad’s birthday. He's a huge fishing fan and I think he’d love the personal touches Captain Rob offers. Plus, I've heard the fishing in Choctawhatchee Bay is amazing. Any tips on what to expect? How's the vibe on the boat? I want to make it special!

Had an unforgettable day fishing with Captain Rob!

Just got back from a day of fishing with Captain Rob on Choctawhatchee Bay and wow, what an experience! Rob is such a great guy, he really knows his stuff and made sure we all caught fish. We even had a little chat about his Marine service. Honestly, it was therapeutic and just what I needed. I can't recommend this enough, especially for anyone who's dealing with loss or just needs a break.
