Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids at Inspiration Tower?

A: No age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome, and they usually love the glass elevator ride. Just be aware that younger kids might need a bit more supervision, especially when looking out over the edge at the views. It's a great adventure for the whole family!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Do they cancel?

A: They generally stay open, but if there's severe weather, like lightning or heavy storms, they might close the observation deck for safety. Always a good idea to check their website or call ahead if the forecast looks sketchy on the day of your visit.

Q: Do we need to reserve tickets in advance, or can we just show up?

A: No reservations needed! You can just show up whenever you're ready. It’s pretty flexible, which is great if your plans change last minute. Just make sure you check the hours of operation before you go!

Is Inspiration Tower worth it during the off-season?

Thinking about taking my parents to Inspiration Tower this January. I know it's winter, but the views are supposed to be breathtaking! Has anyone been there during the colder months? I just want to make sure we won’t miss out. They love the outdoors, but I’m worried it might be too chilly to enjoy the observation deck. Thoughts?

Plans for the Trail of Lights at Inspiration Tower?

I just learned about the Trail of Lights event happening in November/December at Inspiration Tower. Has anyone done this? I’m curious about what it’s like to see the tower as a giant Christmas tree. Is it worth going for the lights alone? Also, how’s the parking situation during that time?
