Q&A
A: Yes, there is typically an age limit for this rafting trip. Most companies, including Rocky Mountain Whitewater Rafting, require participants to be at least 12 years old. Just make sure your son is comfortable with class III rapids, as they can be quite intense!
A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable underneath the wetsuit they provide, like a swimsuit or quick-dry athletic wear. It can get chilly, especially after splashing through rapids, so bringing a light jacket for after the trip is a good idea. Honestly, it's all about comfort!
A: Absolutely! If the weather conditions are not safe for rafting, you can reschedule for another date. Just make sure to check the policy when you book, as different providers may have varying rules about cancellations and rescheduling.

Thinking about gifting the Intermediate Upper Clear Creek Canyon Rafting Adventure!
I’m considering this for my brother’s birthday! The idea of tackling those class III rapids like Nomad and Phoenix sounds super exciting. I’ve heard it’s a wild ride. Has anyone done this? What’s it like? Should I add in some extra gear or is what they provide enough?
Just got back from the rafting adventure in Idaho Springs!
