Q&A
A: Yes, participants need to be at least 10 years old to join the climbing sessions. However, if you're planning on bringing a younger climber, it's best to check with Miyar Adventures directly to see if they can accommodate them safely. They focus a lot on safety and making sure everyone is comfortable, so it's a good idea to reach out!
A: Definitely wear comfortable athletic clothes that allow for movement. You’ll want to have sturdy shoes, but climbing shoes are usually provided if you don’t have your own. Also, keep in mind that layers are a good idea since it can get chilly when you’re not climbing. Bring a light jacket just in case!
A: Miyar Adventures will usually notify you if there are any cancellations due to bad weather. They prioritize safety above all else. If the trip gets canceled, you can reschedule for another date with no extra fees. Just keep an eye on the forecast before the day of your experience!

Thinking about getting the Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing experience for my boyfriend's birthday!
He’s been climbing at the gym for a while and I think this would be a great way to push him to try something new. I love that it’s in Seattle, which I hear has gorgeous views. Has anyone done this? Is it challenging for someone who's only climbed indoors?
Just booked the Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing for my kids!
I’m so excited! They’re 10 and 12, and I think this will be a fun challenge for them. I’ve heard the instructors at Miyar Adventures are really good. How was your experience if you’ve taken your kids?
