Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit, but kids 10 and up usually do great! Just keep in mind that some of the tools can be a bit sharp, so adult supervision is recommended. It's all about having fun and getting creative together!
A: You can take the I-8 East and then CA-79 to Julian. The drive takes about an hour and a half, and there’s plenty of parking at the site. Just be aware that it can fill up on weekends, so arriving a little early is a good idea!
A: Yes, if the weather is looking sketchy, Becky will usually offer a reschedule. They’re pretty good about keeping you informed through email, so you won’t be left in the dark. Just check your emails a day or two before the event!

Thinking about gifting the Wild Clay Pottery Workshop!
I’m considering this pottery workshop in Julian for my mom’s birthday. She loves being outdoors and has mentioned wanting to try pottery. I’m a bit worried she might find it too hard since she's a total beginner. Has anyone done this workshop? What was it like? Also, do you think it’s a good experience for someone who’s older?
Just got back from the Wild Clay Pottery Workshop!
OMG, you guys! I just finished the Wild Clay Pottery Workshop with Becky and it was AMAZING! The views in Julian are to die for, plus she made everything so easy to understand. I felt like a pro by the end of it, and I made a cute little pot. Definitely worth the drive from San Diego; I’ll be going back for sure!
