Q&A
A: No age restrictions! It's a family-friendly tour, so kids can join in on the fun, too. Just make sure they can handle some walking, since it lasts a few hours. Plus, they might enjoy the brigadeiro and pasteis de natas just as much as the adults!
A: Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes! It’s a walking tour after all. Sneakers or good sandals would be best since you'll be on your feet and walking between venues. The last thing you want is sore feet when you’re trying to enjoy all that amazing food!
A: Good question! The tour runs rain or shine, so be sure to bring an umbrella or wear a rain jacket if the forecast looks bad. Just expect to eat indoors at some stops if it’s really coming down. They typically adjust the itinerary based on the weather!

Just finished the Ironbound Food Tour, and wow!
I just got back from the Ironbound Neighborhood Food Tour in Newark and it was amazing! We tried so many different foods like the pasteis de natas and even brigadeiro. The guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area, which made the whole experience even better. I'd say a must-do if you're in the area! Totally worth it!
Thinking of gifting the Ironbound Food Tour!
I’m considering getting this Ironbound Food Tour for my foodie friend’s birthday. She loves trying new things! Has anyone done it? Any tips or must-try foods to keep an eye out for?
