Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids to join the kayak tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids as young as 8 can join if they're with an adult. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water! It’s a great family-friendly activity, and the guides are super patient with beginners.

Q: Is there a chance of weather cancellations?

A: Yes, weather can certainly impact the tours. They usually check conditions ahead of time, and if it’s unsafe to go, they'll reschedule your trip. Just keep an eye on the forecast, especially for storms or high winds!

Q: What should I wear for the kayak tour?

A: Dress in layers since it can get chilly on the water. Quick-dry clothes are great, plus a swim suit underneath if you want to jump in! And don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. You'll be on the water for a while!

Thinking of gifting the Island Kayak Tour in Breckenridge!

Hey everyone! I'm considering giving my sister the Island Kayak Tour experience as a birthday gift. I've heard great things about it, especially the chance to see eagles and maybe even moose! Since she loves the outdoors, I think she’d totally enjoy it. Just wondering if anyone has tips or experiences to share before I book?

Anyone done the Island Kayak Tour? Need some advice!

So I’m really interested in the Island Kayak Tour in Frisco. I’ve never kayaked before but it sounds super cool, especially since you can see some of Colorado’s beautiful peaks. Is it really beginner-friendly? Also, how hard is it to find parking around there?
