Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Italian cooking class? I'm thinking of gifting it to my 15-year-old daughter.

A: There's no strict age limit, but we recommend that participants be at least 12 years old to fully engage in the class. It's great for teens, and Chef John has a fun way of explaining things that keeps everyone involved! Just make sure to let them know about any dietary restrictions in advance.

Q: What if I have to reschedule? Does anyone know the policy?

A: You can usually reschedule up to 48 hours before your class without losing your spot. Just contact their customer service and they'll help you out. But keep in mind that last-minute changes might not be possible, so plan ahead!

Q: What should I wear for this cooking class? Is it casual?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! You might want to wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a bit messy. An apron is a good idea too, but they might have some available. Just be ready to whip up some delicious food!

Just booked the Italian Dinner with Tiramisu Finale! So Excited!

I finally booked the cooking class in NYC with Chef John for my wife’s birthday! It’s on a Saturday evening, and I can't wait to learn how to make pasta from scratch. The whole sit-down dinner part sounds amazing too, especially the tiramisu! I’m a bit nervous about my cooking skills, but I’ve heard great things about this experience. Anyone else done it?

Anyone know if the dinner is kid-friendly?

I’m considering this class for my family, but I want to make sure it’s suitable for kids. Do they have options for picky eaters? My son is super reluctant to try new foods. Has anyone had a kid join before?
