Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this tour? My kids are 8 and 10, would they be able to join?

A: No specific age restrictions mentioned! Kids are more than welcome on this tour, and it can be a fun and educational experience for them. Just keep in mind that some eating spots might have limited options for picky eaters. I took my 9-year-old, and he loved the pizza stop!

Q: What should we wear for the food tour? Is it mostly walking around?

A: Comfortable walking shoes are a must since you’ll be moving around. Dress casually, but you might want to layer up depending on the weather. NYC can be unpredictable! I went in spring, and it was chilly in the morning but nice by lunchtime.

Q: How do the food samples work? Do we get to choose what we want to try?

A: The samples are usually chosen by your guide and feature classic NYC foods, so you might not have a pick. But they do try to include diverse options, and if you have dietary restrictions, definitely mention them beforehand. I loved the pasta place we stopped at!

Just booked the Italian Food and Culture Tour! Any tips?

I’m so excited! Just booked the tour for next month in Greenwich Village. I can’t wait to see the Children’s Museum before the food part! Anyone have tips on what to try or what to wear? Hoping it’s as fun as it sounds!

Just got back from the tour, and it was amazing!

I did the Italian Food and Culture Tour this past weekend, and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Our guide was a local who shared so many cool stories. The food samples were delicious, especially the cannoli! Plus, the Children’s Museum was such a fun stop for my kids. Highly recommend it!
