Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is too bad for the snowcoach tour into Yellowstone?

A: If the weather is really bad, the tour might get rescheduled or adjusted. The company usually has backup plans in place, so it's a good idea to check their policy before booking. They’re pretty good about keeping everyone updated, but you can also call their customer service just to confirm how they handle weather cancellations.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this tour? Can kids join?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but kids should be able to sit through the tours and enjoy the activities. It's a great experience for families! Make sure they dress warmly because it can get chilly. They also offer kid-friendly snacks, which is a nice bonus.

Q: What should I wear for the sleigh ride and snowcoach? Is there anything I should bring?

A: Layering is key! Wear thermal underwear, a good winter coat, gloves, and a warm hat. The sleigh ride can get really cold, so don't skimp on the layers. Bring a camera for the amazing views, and definitely some snacks for the ride. The guides provide some snacks, but it’s good to have your own just in case!

Thinking about booking the Grand Teton and Yellowstone Winter Tour – any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m planning to book the 4-day winter tour in Jackson for my partner's birthday. I’ve heard amazing things about the horse-drawn sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge and seeing Old Faithful in winter sounds epic! Has anyone done this? I’m curious about how the accommodations are and if the wildlife sightings are really worth it.

Just got back from the Yellowstone Winter Tour, and wow!

I just finished the Jackson 4-day tour and it was unforgettable! The snowcoach to Old Faithful was epic. We also got really lucky with wildlife; saw bison and moose up close! The sleigh ride was such a magical experience, especially with the snow-covered scenery. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique gift or winter adventure!
