Thinking of gifting a visit to the Jennie Wade House!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting tickets for my history-loving sister for her birthday. I've heard the house tells a really poignant story about Jennie Wade and the Civil War. Has anyone been? What was your experience like? Is it worth it? I want it to be a meaningful gift!
Just visited the Jennie Wade House—thoughts!
I just got back from the Jennie Wade House, and wow, what an experience! The house is so well curated, and the story of Jennie's life and death really hits home. The guides were super knowledgeable too! If you're into Civil War history, this is a must-see. Oh, and make sure to wear comfy shoes, some of the floors are uneven.
