Q&A

Q: Can my 6-year-old join the tour? Do they need a car seat?

A: Yes, kids 8 and younger are required to be in a car seat or booster seat. So, if your 6-year-old is going, you'll need to bring one along. The tour company usually provides a car seat if you request it in advance, but it’s always good to double-check when you book. Enjoy the historical sites!

Q: What should we wear for the Jerome Tour? Any tips for exploring Tuzigoot?

A: Wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be doing a bit of walking, especially at Tuzigoot. The weather can get pretty warm during the day, so light clothing is a good idea. If you're going in cooler months, bring a light jacket for Jerome, as it can get breezy. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Q: Is there parking at the pick-up location in Sedona?

A: Yes, there’s parking available at most Sedona hotels where the pick-up happens. Just check with your hotel ahead of time for their specific arrangements. If you're driving in from another area, you can usually find public parking in Sedona, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

Anyone done the Jerome Tour? What was your favorite part?

I just got back from the Jerome Tour with some friends, and wow, Tuzigoot was so cool! The history is really interesting, and Jerome itself has such a funky vibe. I loved shopping at the local art shops. What was your highlight if you’ve done it?
