Thinking of gifting the Joshua Tree Architecture & Art Tour — any advice?

I’m looking to gift the Joshua Tree Architecture & Art Tour to my partner for their birthday. We love architecture and art, and this seems perfect! Has anyone done it recently? I want to know if it’s worth it and how the tour guides are. Do they really give good insights, or is it just a drive-through kind of experience?
